Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), is visiting Nigeria from September 26-28, 2016. It will be his first official visit to the country since his appointment president of AfDB last year. Stressing the need for Nigeria to put in place the right incentives to boost private investment and revive growth, Adesina will meet with policy-makers, the private sector, and development partners to discuss the challenges facing Nigeria and highlight the AfDB's commitment to further strengthen its partnership with Nigeria.
