Afcon 2025 - More Countries Secure Tickets for Morocco

Several nations, including Nigeria, Tunisia, South Africa, Uganda, and Equatorial Guinea, have secured their spots for the 35th edition of the prestigious African Cup of Nations in Morocco during the fifth round of qualifying matches.

Nigeria Striker Victor Osimhen rescued the Super Eagles from defeat by Benin when he scored the equalizer in their 1-1 draw, although the three-time continental champions had already sealed qualification even before the kickoff, courtesy of Libya's 1-0 defeat of Rwanda in a Group D match.

Tunisia's late goal against Madagascar in their 3-2 victory clinched their spot, while Uganda, South Africa, and Gabon secured qualifications without kicking a ball after favorable results in their groups.
