Cyberbullies Calling for My Resignation - Kenya's Chief Justice

Chief Justice Martha Koome has described those calling for her resignation as "cyberbullies", saying she's been unfairly targeted. This comes amid growing criticisms of the judiciary from lawyers and human rights organizations who have accused it of corruption, and a whistleblower accusation against court officers who allegedly received bribes in exchange for favorable rulings.

Several stakeholders, including representatives from the Law Society of Kenya and members of the Judicial Service Commission, have been called to discuss the issue, Koome said.
